Westpine will always discuss your options with you to allow you to make a decision that is right for you.

Fees

Westpine do not believe in charging tenants excessive fees; we believe in offering helpful and friendly advice to find your next home, with the least amount of hassle and cost. That is why Westpine have just one simple fee per tenant to apply for one of our properties, with no extras / add ons or hidden fees throughout the course of or at the end of your tenancy.

Westpine charge £100 flat fee for each applicant applying for a property. This fee covers a credit check, all referencing, tenancy negotiations, preparation of tenancy documents including an extensive inventory and the move in.

Tenancy Agreement

Tenancy Agreement
After obtaining satisfactory references and consent to proceed from the landlord, Westpine will forward you a copy of their tenancy agreement to give you the opportunity to read through it prior to signing. Westpine will then invite you to their offices at a time convenient for you to sign the tenancy agreement. Please note that the tenancy agreement is a legally binding document between you and the landlord, therefore it is important that you fully understand its content – if in doubt, Westpine will talk you through the document in detail. Our tenancies are Assured Shorthold Tenancies and are normally for a period of 6 or 12 months, unless agreed otherwise.

Deposit & Rent

Deposit & Rent
Prior to moving into the property, you will be required to pay one month's rent in advance and the full deposit. In accordance with legislation, your deposit will be registered and held by the DPS (www.depositprotection.com), unless an alternative valid deposit scheme has been discussed with your landlord. Your rent will normally be due on a monthly basis which is recommended to be set up by standing order from your bank account.
